The Founders     Robert Hentzel     Dexter Allen     Tim Hentzel   The Team		Tim's work centers on designing efficient, scalable, and robust database-backed systems. Recently Tim has focused on systems to support large-scale web deployments, including a multi-terabyte medical information system for BodyMedia, and a geo-spatial information system for Vectiv Corporation. As one of Silicon Age's technical leads Tim spends significant time researching and presenting new technologies; current research includes object-oriented databases and efficient approaches to object-relational mapping. Before co-founding Silicon Age, Tim was a Senior Consultant for Ernst & Young, LLP. While there Tim did extensive data modeling and database implementation for Fortune 100 clients. In spite of the long hours he keeps, Tim finds time to be a regular in the Oracle newsgroups and on codegarden.com. In the scant hours that he is not planted in front of his monitor Tim enjoys racing around on his beloved motorcycle.
