The Founders Robert Hentzel Dexter Allen Tim Hentzel The Team |
Rob is happiest at the beginnings and ends of projects; one half of him delights in
designing object models and discovering new algorithms, but the other half relishes
trying every known technique--or inventing new ones--for squeezing the last bit of
performance out of an application. Despite hating the act of choosing between elegance and speed, Rob is sometimes forced to make that choice while serving as technical lead on Silicon Age projects, including the BodyMedia HDR Tracker and the Sprint eBPR. Luckily, this is made up for by the chance to learn new technologies and become familiar with new industries. Rob is a co-founder of Silicon Age and does most of his work in C++, Java, and C. When not working, Rob enjoys playing and creating games, both computerized and not. He is also an avid reader and world-class quiz bowl player. |
